Die Cut - The die cutting mould currently in use is a wooden knife mould. Ideally the mould should be made by zinc. It is most often used to cut refrigerator magnets, as well as cardboard boxes.

Screen Printing - Screen Printing is only for printing on flat or cylinder shape and must be of flat surface. The screen is created by exposing a positive image onto a negative screen .
T-shirt printing is one of the most competitive businesses
because people can simply print their own t-shirts in garages with colour printers.
Hot Stamping - Cosmo’s hot stamping service can come in gold or silver. Die is made of aluminum.

Heat Press Transfer-Decal transfer is where the image is printed on paper which will then be transferred onto the objects from the paper.

An example of decal transfer is soft-drink cans which is too soft to be screen printed.  (We generally do not recommend this method due to cost)
Pad Printing - This method is for small objects or rough surfaces (i.e. angles, curves). It transfers ink and image from a plate onto a soft pad, which is then stamped on the object.

The maximum traveling distance of the machine is limited to 3 inches from the edge.

Maximum printing size is typically up to 2” x 2.5”.

The disadvantage of this method is that it is not suitable to do reverse printing, and not appropriate for large solid items.

Computer Vinyl Cutting - Words and images are computer cut on adhesive labels. Cosmo also does other types of indoor or outdoor banners, labels and stickers.

N.B. Setup cost accounts for fixture, labour, cleanup, film, and screen setup costs.

All setup materials remain the property of Cosmo unless the customer pays for the screen and the film.
