1. Orders and Cancellation

All prices, specifications and terms of sale in this catalogue are subject to change without notice. All telephone orders requiring imprint must be confirmed in writing. Factory will not be responsiblefor errors on verbal orders.  Customer is responsibleto check all quotation/artwork approval before printing. The order is based on the final artwork approval form and order form that are last signed.  All orders are considered firm and cannot be cancelled without written factory authorization which can only be granted prior to imprinting or production.

2. Pricing Policy

The prices in this catalogue are suggested prices only. Distributors are not under any obligation to use these prices. Any variance from this price list will not affect the distributor's relationship with the factory. Prices shown in this catalogue do not include GST and PST. Prices are subject to applicable taxes.

3.  Payment Terms and Accounts

Terms for Account Customers: Net 30 days to rated or established customers. Overdue accounts are subject to 2% monthly interest on outstanding balances of 30 days or greater. Terms for Non-Account Customers: Cheque or cash with purchase order. NSF cheques are subject to a S25.00 charge and will result in loss of credit privileges.

4.  Artwork

Camera ready, colour separated, black and white artwork is required. If artwork needs to be touched up or reconstructed to make it suitable for output, art charges will be acknowledged before proceeding with the order at a rate of $45.00(G) per hour. All fonts must be converted to paths, curves or outlines. This allows the text to become an object and can no longer be substituted by another font style. Artwork that is prepared, as 4-colour process should not contain Pantone colours. Make sure all colours arc converted to CMYK. Extra charges will apply for additional spot colours. For spot colour printing, use Pantone colours only - do not use process colours. Make sure that the colour information, such as Pantone numbers, is clearly marked in the file or hard copy. A list of all fonts used, and a hard copy printout of the exact artwork MUST be provided along with the disk. Send only the files we need. Do not send any other art files on your disks. Do not send your original file - make a copy. Artwork may be e-mailed to us at: info@cosmoarts.net as an attachment. Make sure your company name and phone number are in the body of the email. Fax us a purchase order and hard copy of the art ensure receipt. Acceptable formats may include: EPS files, CorelDraw 9 or lower.Unacceptable formats may include: JPG, GIF, or any files from the Internet, Microsoft Words or PowerPoint files, BMP or PCX, and / or RGB colours. Note: We reserve the rights to determine what is camera-ready.

5.  Colour Matching and PMS Colour

Special colour match is subject to additional charges. We cannot guarantee a perfect colour match, especially on coloured products. Only near tonal values may be expected.  PMS colour matches may vary from original orders and re-orders. Include a PMS number or a colour swatch for each colour if required.

6. Order Changes

Order changes (piece, colour, artwork, shipping information) may result in changes to your ship date as well as additional setup proof charges. If production has started, any changes will not be accepted.

7. Over Runs and Under Runs

Plus or minus 3 - 5% or 3 units shall constitute fulfillment of an order. Orders that specify NO OVER-RUNS are subject to short production of up to 3 - 5%. However, every effort will be made to print the exact quantity order. Billing in all cases will be for exact quantity shipped. If customer is sending us the materials to be printed, we will print all of which we received and will not be responsible for shortage or excess. We are not responsible for the quality of the materials being printed.

8. Production Time

7 - 10 working days after the receipt of signed order form, signed artwork approval form, FULL PAYMENT (if you do not have an approved credit account with Cosmo), and no further clarification is required unless communicated. Please mark clearly on your purchase order when a critical completion date is required for an order and call us for confirmation.

9. Returns

Please inspect and verify all products upon receipt. Allclaims must be made within 7 days upon receipt of printed goods. Cosmo will not accept returned orders without specific written authorization from the factory. Please contact the factory to obtain a return authorization. Third party decorating voids all warranties. We reserve the rights to dispose of any unclaimed and/or returned goods at our discretion.

10. Rush Orders

Call factory to check if production can accommodate. Rush orders may be accepted if production schedule allows. Minimum 72 working hours after receipt of signed order form, artwork approval form, FULL PAYMENT (if you do not have an approved credit account with Cosmo), and no further clarification is required. Usually 25 - 50% additional charge for rush order (to be quoted). Our operating hours is Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pm (excluding public holidays)

11.  Repeat Orders

To prevent degradation, we discard all dies and all screens 24 months following their last use. Reorders placed after this time will require new artwork and will incur setup charges. If there are no changes on the artwork and printing within 24 months, no artwork/ order form needs to be signed. Conditions and termsfrom previous forms are still effective. However, purchase order is still necessary and all relevant printing information should be written clearly on the purchase order.

12. Shipping

We are not responsible for delivery. Please arrange your own shipping arrangement. Goods lost or damaged after leaving our facilities arc the responsibility of the courier. All orders are F.O.B. Richmond, B.C.

13.  Disclaimer

Cosmo Arts & Image Ltd. cannot be liable for delays in delivery or product availability due to customs, shipping or natural disasters.

14.  Limitation of Liability

Cosmo Arts & Image Ltd. cannot be liable for direct, indirect, special incident or consequential damages based upon breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, strict liability or any other legal action. Cosmo's liability is limited to the cost of replacement printing. All orders are produced to client specifications. Cosmo Arts & Image Ltd. assumes no responsibility for copyright and/or license infringement. We assume that the customer has permission to use all designs to be reproduced. The technical advice regarding printing technology and quality of inks given by representatives of our Company, whether verbally or written, are based on our present knowledge provided by our suppliers and other sources and is believed to be accurate. However, no guarantee regarding their accuracy is given as we cannot cover or anticipate every possible application of our products and service due to the possible variation of manufacturing methods, printing stocks and other materials. For the same reason, our services and products are sold without warranty. Customers should see our available samples or ask to print some samples before printing, to satisfy themselves that they will meet their particular requirements fully.

Please be aware that any items provided by the customer that is not our standard items will require a samply ink testing which takes approximately 5-7 working days before the actual printing production that takes another 7-14 working days.
